Interested in becoming a member of Assistance League of Birmingham?

Membership is open to all individuals who are interested in serving their community as long as they comply with the responsibilities of membership.  You may join Assistance League of Birmingham at any time throughout the year.

Membership requirements are as follows:

Attend Monthly Meetings:

Voting Members: Attend regularly scheduled meetings on the 3rd Wednesday morning of the month, September through May.

Non-Voting Members: Attend regularly scheduled meetings on the 2nd Tuesday evening of the month, September through May.

Attend new member orientation sessions.

Hours:

Active Voting Members - Serve a minimum of 7 hours each month on one of the three Philanthropic Projects.  Also serve on one standing committee and one fundraising committee.

Junior Active Voting Members (under age 40) - Serve a minimum of 42 hours annually on one of the three Philanthropic Projects.  Also serve on one standing committee and one fundraising committee.

Non-Voting members - Serve a minimum of 21 hours annually on one of the three Philanthropic Projects.

Assume share of financial obligations:

Annual Dues - $50.00

Gala Tickets - Purchase tickets to Gala.

Master's Golf Package - Buy or sell one ticket.
